Tahoe Checker Taxi was founded in 2001 by long-time local cab drivers, who desired to bring better transportation services to the Lake Tahoe Area.

We are one of Tahoe's longest-running taxicab service, and to this day, we remain owned, run and staffed by locals.

We believe in offering nice, clean vehicles; safe, prompt and professional service – all for a competitive price.

We go out of our way to set a higher standard.
